INNOVA is Tederic's new electro-hydraulic hybrid platform, designed from the ground up for food, cosmetics, medical and thin-wall packaging. Its all-electric clamp and electric screw drive work with accumulator-assisted hydraulic injection to balance acceleration, repeatability and energy-conscious production.

From closures and lids to thin-wall containers and IML packaging, the first INNOVA 250 is made for applications where cycle time, process stability and clean mould areas directly affect output.

Injection unit

A state-of-the-art single-cylinder design combines high accuracy with a high-flow piston accumulator. Injection speeds reach up to 700 mm/s, with a high-resolution stroke transducer and closed-loop PID control for injection speed and pressure.

02 · Fast, clean, robust

Clamp unit

The high-speed kinematic toggle is engineered around a strong, stable structure. An electric direct-drive system, closed-loop toggle oil lubrication and covered, temperature-controlled mechanics keep the moulding area clean and the motion repeatable.

The new-generation HMI pairs a modern multitouch interface with hardkeys for important machine functions. Free-programmable cycles allow parallel and overlapping functions for the shortest possible cycle times.

04 · Electric where it matters

Hybrid drive

Dedicated pumping, short hydraulic lines and piston-accumulator technology combine with a 300 bar pressure level for a compact, responsive hydraulic injection system. A capacitive DC-link energy buffer reuses braking energy and reduces peak demand from the grid.

05 · Built for polyolefins

Screw design

Tederic's in-house screw design is optimised for polyolefins and the shortest packaging cycles. The 27-L/D screw, double flighting and combined mixing element support plasticising performance, homogenisation and masterbatch distribution.
