AJSolutions / Machines / Automation

Special solutions, robots and automation

A machine on its own rarely makes the business case. We integrate take-out robots, in-mould labelling, in-mould coating, six-axis cells and downstream handling — one supplier for the whole cell, engineered and commissioned from Zandhoven.

01 — Take-out automation

TLR linear robots

Tederic’s own take-out robots, sharing the control philosophy of the machine. From 3 kg on a 200 tonne machine to 50 kg on a 4 000 tonne machine.

TLR — standard

Three-axis side mounted

Single arm with double telescopic section. The default choice for 80–650 t machines, sprue picking and simple part take-out onto a conveyor.

TLR — twin arm

Five-axis, twin arm

Servo wrist rotation for part orientation, twin arm for separating part and runner or for insert loading and take-out in the same stroke.

TLR — H execution

High speed

Reinforced beam and lightweight arm for thin-wall and packaging cycles where take-out has to finish before the mould is ready to close again.

TLR — bullhead

Heavy duty

Double-column bullhead construction up to 50 kg payload for large technical parts on two-platen machines up to 4 000 t and beyond.

Interface

Euromap 12 / 67

Every Tederic ships with the robot interface as standard, so the robot arrives programmed and is commissioned together with the machine — one warranty, one number to call.

Control

AC servo, closed loop

Teach-in or free programming on a multilingual touch screen, online vacuum monitoring, anti-collision sensing and an anti-fall device on the vertical axis.

Construction

Modular aluminium

Integrally formed profile, every module removable, forward and reverse mounting interchangeable. Double-speed vertical axis for halls with limited height.

02 — In-mould labelling

IML with LabelSure™

LabelSure™ is Tederic’s integrated in-mould labelling process: the label is placed in the open mould and fused with the part in the same shot. Decoration and moulding become one step — single-sided, double-sided or four-sided.

Typical for thin-wall packaging: cups, tubs, pails, lids and containers running on high-speed electric or hybrid machines. The label becomes part of the wall, so there is no secondary printing or sleeving line, no label waste stream, and the part stays fully recyclable as a mono-material.

Finish

Premium decoration

Photo-quality graphics integrated into the wall, no scuffing, no separate sleeve.

Cost

One process step

Moulding and decoration in one cycle removes handling, storage and a second machine.

Cell

Side-entry IML robot

Label magazine, static charging, part take-out, stacking and packing in one motion.

Machines

NEO·EII / NEO·T

All-electric or high-speed toggle platforms are the usual base; heavier IML parts move to NEO·HII.

03 — In-mould coating

ColorSure™

Injection moulding and surface coating in a single step, developed by Tederic for high-gloss exterior parts — demonstrated on a NEO·M280e multi-component electric machine for automotive lighting.

Process

PUR in the mould

A polyurethane coating is injected onto the substrate in the tool and cross-links chemically with it, instead of being sprayed in a separate paint shop.

Surface

Scratch resistant

Hard or self-healing surfaces, wide colour range, and a reported light transmittance above 92 % on lighting components.

Cycle

No second line

Secondary painting, baking and sanding disappear, together with the floor space and WIP that those steps need.

Environment

Near-zero VOC

No release agents and near-zero VOC emissions compared with conventional spray painting of the same part.

Figures as published by Tederic for their demonstration cells; we validate them against your part and material before any offer.

04 — Cell integration

Six-axis robot cells

Where a linear robot stops, a six-axis cell starts: insert loading, in-cell assembly, quality vision, stacking and packing — specified, built and safety-validated as one machine.

Upstream

Insert loading

Metal inserts, films, connectors or pre-moulded parts fed from trays, bowl feeders or magazines and placed in the tool between shots.

In cell

Assembly & finishing

Degating, ultrasonic welding, clipping, gluing, laser marking or leak testing performed while the next shot is moulding.

Quality

Vision inspection

Camera checks on presence, position, dimension or colour, with automatic reject handling and traceability per cavity.

Downstream

Stacking & packing

Conveyors, part orientation, box filling, tray denesting and palletising at the end of the cell.

Safety

CE for the whole cell

Fencing, interlocks, muting and risk assessment for the assembled installation — not just for the machine on its own.

Responsibility

One supplier

AJSolutions specifies, orders, commissions and services the cell. One contract, one acceptance test, one service number.

05 — Around the machine

Peripherals and material handling

We represent more than twenty specialist brands in the Benelux, so the equipment around the machine is chosen on merit and quoted in the same project.

Material

Drying & conveying

Dryers, hoppers, vacuum loaders and central material lines sized to the throughput.

Dosing

Gravimetric blending

Masterbatch and regrind dosing with recipe control and consumption logging.

Temperature

TCUs & chillers

Water and oil units, chillers and free-cooling — the biggest lever on cooling time.

Recycling

Beside-press granulators

Sprue and part granulation returned straight into the dosing loop.

06 — Project

INNOVA hybrid packaging

A dedicated packaging platform rather than a standard range: electric clamping combined with hydraulic injection, first model 250 t, shown at K 2025.

We treat INNOVA as a project: if you are running high-cavity thin-wall packaging and want to look at it, we set up the evaluation with Tederic directly.

Concept

Hybrid drive

Electric clamping for repeatability, hydraulic injection for peak packaging speed.

Status

Evaluation only

Not yet a catalogue range in the Benelux — specifications on request.
